I am writing a script to check for differences between 2 baselines. I have the following script:
for oObj in newBlObjs do {
int absNum = oObj."Absolute Number";
bool inOldBl = find(oldBlObjs, absNum);
if (inOldBl) {
//get the object from newBlObjs to check if any attributes are changed.
}
}
newBlObjs and oldBlObjs are both Skip Lists containing the objects in 2 different baselines. Since I know that the object with Absolute Number = absNum is in the old baseline, how do I get that object so I can check for attribute changes between the old and new?

Re: Getting an object using its absolute number If both skip lists contain the objects in the two baselines, seems that you should be able to just change: bool inOldBl = find(oldBlObjs, absNum); to bool inOldBl = find(oldBlObjs, absNum, oldObj); then compare attributes between oObj from the new baseline and oldObj from the old baseline. |
